Fun Video Game Reviews

Welcome to the part of KB News where we actually tell you whether games are worth playing. No corporate PR speak, no 7/10 scores for broken messes, no “it has something for everyone” nonsense. Just honest takes from people who play too many video games and have opinions about it.

We review everything from massive AAA releases to weird indie experiments you’ve never heard of. If it’s worth your time and money, we’ll tell you. If it’s garbage, we’ll tell you that too. And if it’s somewhere in the middle—which is most games, let’s be real—we’ll help you figure out if it’s garbage for you specifically or actually worth a shot.

Latest Reviews

Counter-Strike 2: Still the Tactical Shooter King in 2025 – Valve’s latest competitive FPS two years after launch. Is it better than CS:GO yet? Spoiler: mostly yes, but with caveats.

More reviews coming soon. We’re currently playing through Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Stalker 2, and arguing about whether Marvel Rivals is actually good or just Overwatch with a Marvel skin.

What Makes Our Reviews Different

We don’t do review scores. Numbers are meaningless—a 7/10 could mean “pretty good” or “deeply flawed but playable” depending on who’s writing. Instead, we tell you what the game actually is, who it’s for, and whether it’s worth your money right now or if you should wait for a sale.

We also don’t rush to publish day-one reviews. If a game needs 20 hours to get good (or fall apart), we’ll play those 20 hours. If the endgame is broken, we’ll tell you. If it runs like garbage on mid-range hardware, you’ll know before you buy it.
